We collect your mobile phone number, the content of the requests and messages you send us, and the basic details needed to connect you with the right person in your community.

Text messaging

LocalLink works over SMS. You opt in by texting LocalLink at (732) 466-1777 with a request. We then send you text messages to make introductions and to keep you updated about your requests and matches.

We will not sell or share your mobile information or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is shared with another community member only when you both agree to connect, and mobile information is used solely to operate the LocalLink service.

How we use your information

We use your information to connect community members, send the messages you have requested, verify activity, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
